What I learned

In my opninion I thought Boot Camp was stressing. It seemed like a load of work to do in a couple of weeks, and I'm actually relieved that it's over. I actually feel like I have time to relax now. Anyway, I learned a couple of interesting things. First of all, I learned various terms that I had never heard about, and it helped me review some things that I had pushed to the back of my mind. I learned that writting is a process, your first final completed essay will usually NOT be your last final essay. Now I just hope class is more relaxing, meaning not a pile/ load of work, just enough to learn, cause we DO have other things to do such as homework for other classes. more and more reading, and work.

  1. I will completely agree with you on the fact that boot camp was stressful! All I felt like I was doing was English homework all the time. Learning all the new terms I think was beneficial and I liked discussing the definitions as a class because, it kept me engaged. I also think one of the biggest things I learned from boot camp was the writing was a process. Editing is extremely important and it helps your writing evolve. Hopefully we will slow things down in this semester because boot camp was a lot of work.

  2. I ditto what both of you said! I was pretty much doing English work all week long every day. My least favorite homework is busy work, and that's what I kind of felt it was like, but I also learned a lot from that work. I hope that we aren't overloaded too much with English work in the future weeks to come!
